Therapeutic Approach
I am committed to providing a safe therapeutic environment that is judgement free and respectful. I will work at your pace in a non-directive way to help raise your emotional awareness and will equip you with the skills to express your thoughts, feelings, and behaviours. My practice is built on the core principles of empathy, collaboration, honesty, and evidence-based treatment. I firmly believe that every person is unique, and so should be their therapy.
My approach is tailored to meet the individual needs of each person, and I work with people’s strengths to foster resilience and cultivate the skills needed to lead a fulfilling and balanced life.
I will use my knowledge, skills, and experience to empower you to understand the difficulties you are experiencing and to identify what it is that you want and need to overcome challenges and make positive life choices.
I describe my clinical practice as a ‘work of heart’; I am dedicated to supporting your progress and provide the foundations for you to build a more meaningful life and to become the best version of yourself.
Throughout your therapeutic journey, you will be in the driving seat, and I will be a supportive passenger helping you to navigate the complexities of life and guiding the route to success, whatever that may look like for you. Together, we will work towards understanding your challenges, developing effective strategies to address and overcome them.
